Villa de Loulia is a 200-year-old Venetian-style mansion set in a garden full of flowers and fruit trees, with shady sitting corners, sun beds scattered over a beautifully kept lawn, and a large swimming pool. Inside it is decorated and furnished with style and restraint. Bedrooms are done in a simple, elegant style, with carefully chosen colour schemes and mostly antique furniture. But there is more to this little hotel than meets the eye. The Mataraga family run their property in a spontaneous and enthusiastic way and have created an easygoing, friendly atmosphere. Meals are something to look forward to. For breakfast you find a delicious spread of local and homemade products and later in the day you can order a snack or a salad with ingredients harvested straight from the garden. Candle-lit dinners are served by the pool. Beautifully tasting dishes are made from fresh village products; this is traditional cuisine at its best!
