The Hotel Philoxenia (3 stars) is located on the northwest coast of Corfu only 14km from Corfu Town and the port and airport. There are 50 spacious newly built rooms each with a modern en-suite bathroom. All the rooms face the beach and are fully equipped with telephone, refrigerator and safe deposit boxes. Each room also has a large balcony from which the most beautiful sunsets may be enjoyed. The reception is open 24 hours and room service is provided. There is also spacious secure parking available for guest's cars. There are two swimming pools, one of which within the independent areas and levels is especially for children. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are provided in the pool areas free of charge. Regular "Greek" nights with folk and traditional dancing are held in the pool area and once a week a barbeque is organized for guests with a selection of appetizers. There is a comfortable restaurant and two bars, at the pool bar you can enjoy cocktails whilst listening to international and Greek music. For youngsters there is a play room where they can have hours of pleasant fun. A babysitting service is also available. The beach is only 100 meters from the hotel and there guests can enjoy diving, water skiing, beach volley and canoeing. Only 1km from the hotel is a famous golf club where both European and International Championships are held.
