This little guesthouse manages to combine an excellent location, a warm welcome, an arty and pretty interior, an easy-going atmosphere, a terrific breakfast, and even more... Once a family home (the building is over a hundred years old), it now has nine unique guestrooms, varying from a tiny lovers’ nest furnished with just one big bed to a large family room spread over two levels. All (themed) rooms have comfortable country style furniture, a working fireplace (except the smallest), and loads of fun details in their décor. A delicious breakfast (particularly copious during winter weekends and holidays) is served in the small ground-floor dining room (non-smoking!) and in the basement of the guesthouse you will find a funky relaxation space, with an indoor swimming pool (replete with a Jacuzzi and water massage) and a sauna.
